    Oil Spill in the engine bay (Crankcase Pressure?)

    Hey all,
    Having an issue with my RB20DET. I noticed that under normal driving, everything is fine. But whenever I'm constantly accelerating hard (especially after last track day) I'm usually finding an oil spill in my engine bay.

    At first, I thought it was my Greddy catch can clogged up. I took it off and cleaned it out, and flushed out the PCV lines to make sure they weren't clogged. After some more driving, still no luck; more oil spill

    I got fed up and had a friend watch the engine bay while I applied throttle, and finally a result; the dipstick pops out of place and sprays oil out in the meanwhile!

    Does this sound like crankcase pressure?
    Is there a chance I may have blown seals?

    Sounds like your PCV isnt venting properly OR your catch can is much too restrictive. Possibly the lines are too small, or the catch can isn't venting properly. Your crank case pressure is too high!
