    Clutch Pedal Issue

So I was picking up my friend from Western when suddenly I pressed the clutch in and heard a loud snapping noise. Stopped to check it out but things seemed alright, so I kept driving.

About 5 minutes later, the pedal made a snapping noise again. This time, now the pedal is about 3/4 of the way down all the time, and the pedal is very loose. (shifts left and right like an old Honda transmission lol).

The car still drives fine in all gears, and the clutch still engages like it always has. The pedal is just loose and wont come back up all the way unless I pull it up. It is an aftermarket Ogura Clutch btw.

    Any ideas?
Hoping it's just the pedal and nothing big

Check you clutch pedel plate were it connects to the firewall. Those can go after much use/abuse.

Have you checked yup Clutch master or slaves yet?
Traction is optional, so are zipties

    Thanks for your help!

Turned out to be my throw-out bearing. The fact that I continued driving also damaged my transmission itself.
The whole setup is getting ripped out in the next couple weeks but the car should be back for Spring

    Thanks again!

What kind of damage did it do, specifically?

Sorry I'm sure there are lots of threads on the RB25 tranny but why does everyone get rid of the 20 transmission? Side by side the RB25 tranny looks a lot bigger
