    Timing Belt Question

    Hey all, I'm planning on changing my timing belt in the spring as I don't know if it has been done yet and I don't want it breaking and my engine ending up ******. I'm just wondering if I should change just the timing belt or the tensioner pulleys and stuff too. I've seen the oem mitsuboshi timing belts and I have also seen kits including the following;

    1 Mitsuboshi timing belt (made in Japan)

    2 Genuine Nissan camshaft seals (made in Japan)

    1 Genuine Nissan crankshaft seal (made in Japan)

    1 Genuine Nissan tensioner spring (made in Japan)

    1 NSK Tensioner bearing (made in Japan)

    1 NSK Idler bearing (made in Japan)

    Is it worth it to replace all of that or should I just grab the timing belt? I got about 130k on the engine btw

    Do it all! Belt, idler, tensioner, cam and crank seals. Also do the waterpump if need be. It's much easier and cheaper to go in and do it all once than to have to open it up again because you left something out.

    I'm getting a Tomei timing belt for my car. If you're keeping a stock set up, then just keep an oem belt.
    Because race car.
