Fuel Injector Leak

hey guys,
so i started smelling gas in the car so i pulled over and poped the bonet and started looking for signs of fuel leaks and quickly found one at injector 1. now i did some research and found that that injectors have a o ring at the top(fuel rail) and a insulator on the bottom. please correct me if thats worng. now the leak was on the bottom of the injector and i could lightly twist it and the idle changed and the amount of fuel slowed. does this mean that my insulator is gone? thanks for reading and sorry for the basic question.

well if its an external leak I could see an o-ring being to blame. check the injector o-rings to make sure they're seating properly , if not call Nissan or go to like Princess auto and pick up some O-rings.

the yellow ring is where the injector is leaking from and from what i found in pictures there is no oring at that part.....just wanted to get some info on this befor taking it apart. is the insulator the bottom o ring or the thing that makes the seal

if your 100% sure thats where its coming from, then u have an injector thats crapped out on you. i was fighting leaky fuel injectors for the longest time and finally found out that it was the rising rate FPR that the previous owner had installed. so make sure thats not the case.
