    5V power

    Im looking for a 5V power source to run new gauges. can anyone tell me where to find it or if there is a way to step a other voltage down safely?

    Weird you would need a 5v source. Pretty much every gauge I've ever seen runs on 12v. There should be a 5v source in the steering column if I remember correctly, somebody chime in if I'm wrong.

    As far as I know every 5V source would be coming from the ECU and you really DO NOT want to touch those. Best advice.... get 12V gauges and save yourself the trouble. Maybe those are meant to be run off of a module?
