R32 gts-t rb20det Fuel rail

Hey guys, i just baught a set of GTR injectors and going to install them on my car. the injectors came with a fuel rail that was on an RB20.

While removing the original fuel rail that is on my car, i have noticed there are 2 FPR's just like this picture:

Anyone have a clue, why there are 2? If i install the new fuel rail, with just one FPR, and cancel the vaccum that was going to the second one, will I be okay? plz help me out, i cant figure out why there are 2.

One is a fuel pressure regulator, the other is a damping unit to absorb the pulses from the cycling of the injectors.
I would keep both.
