    clutch problem

    1990 gts4
driving to pick up friend, pull over, go into reverse, car stalls, no unusual noises that i heard. clutch was still all the way to the floor with my foot on it. put it in neutral and started it up, went into reverse and let off the clutch, but it didnt come back up. fluid is now low in reserve. did i break a line? or the cylinder? is my physical clutch destroyed? can anyone help me out. i cant do without my car.
thanks for your time. any and all info will be appreciated.

if you can drive forward clutch is fine. My guess is you sprung a leak somewhere, check your slave, master and all your lines for potential leak

The clutch slave went on my gts4, leaking really badly, grinding gears. Swapped it out with a GTR slave and no more issues.

Correct me if im wrong but the one right on the firewall is the master and the one on the tranny itself is the slave.

so given that i have lost most of my fluid, i probably have a blown line or slave issue? my clutch should be ok after fixing those?

k here is how to check each item.
master cylinder: look around the firewall for fluid leak on the engine bay side as well as inside where the pedal attaches.
lines: run your hands over every line make sure you don't find any wet spots
slave cylinder: check all around the slave for fluid leaking. pull the rubber boot back and make sure its all dry.

If you have lost fluid has to be one of those 3 items leaking.
