    turbo for upgrade?

what is a good turbo to use for an upgrade if i want one that has little lag, can handle more pressure, and gives me a higher end horsepower?

would it bolt to the stock manifold and downpipe?

    would i need a new fuel pump/rail/injectors?

Hope this helps to get your thread rolling. Do you have a S or R? I think that may help too.

Since you are posting in the GTS tech thread I would assume you have a GTSt.

For turbo upgrades, if you want decent power a turbo off an rb25 is a good upgrade without having to modify your fuel system. Any more than that though its a good idea to modify your fuel system and to put in a new exhaust manifold and turbo elbow and downpipe to give better flow than the stock ones allow.

    yes, i have a GTS-T with a downpipe and 3" turbo back.

will the RB25 turbo bolt right on?

Yes, the rb25 turbo is a direct bolt on, which makes it nice for a simple upgrade.

I have a garrett t3/t4 60 trim with .63ar and it has lag. It is external wastegate and only oil cooled. I highly doubt you can run stock manifold and downpipe. But if youre looking for lag and good hp its a good turbo to consider. non bb

Shawley is running a rb25 turbo and I think dont qoute me but is sitting about 280 whp.

Yeah, u can make like 300whp on an rb25 turbo, i dont recomend them though unless you get it steel wheeled or get a neo turbo that is steel wheeled, it will just blow up eventually like they all do. Go with an hks gt2530/35 or a new garrett of the same size.

The series 1 R33 RB25 turbo is a direct bolt and lets you use the stock lines too.

The same applys for the HKS GT2530 and 35.
