need help, geting a r32 over the border

hi, I know I am new, but I live in southern california, I dont plan on driveing this car or useing it as a daily driver, only as a long term project car. Before I even think of even purchase'ing one, I need to know how much it would cost in taxes for it to cross the border, or better yet if the seller can meet me across the border would that help me avoid the fees for now untill I register it in the sunny state of southern california. please help me
