What vehicle can/cannot be imported ?

I am aware that vehicle less than 15 years old cannot be imported, however are there certian vehicles over 15 years old that cannot be imported, and where would I find this information ?

From anywhere else, No.
Well, maybe if you got a letter from the Manufacturer stating that it meets/exceeds CMVSS and can get them to affix a compliance label (fat chance).
Or if the vehicle already meets/exceeds USMVSS or CMVSS and as a result already has the compliance label.

the RIV program is only for vehicles younger than 15yrs after they are 15yrs or older the RIV rules dont apply because they can be imported under the 15yr rule
