Need some legal advise

Hey,

This is not the first post here I was hoping to make but here it goes. I still have my Learners license and my friend with his Novice was driving my GTR late at night as we were returning home. We stopped at a red light and no one was around so he decided to instinctively drive through it and the camera flashed and got a nice picture of the car. I could do nothing in the sitation to stop him as it was an instinct thing and done in a matter of seconds.

So my question is what will happen to me? Also to note im not some young punk driving a GTR for kicks.

who is the car insured under?

it is them who will be issued the ticket...

so unless you can get your friend to own up to the ticket so that it doesnt affect the registered owner/insurers license or or insurance premiums...

if they wont pay for it but will take the blame, then pay it and be done with it...

if they wont pay or admit guilt, dispute it so that it goes on them not you, or the insurers record..

how long were you sitting at the light for? if you just pulled up and didnt give it time to change your fooked, but if you waited for a few mins and it didnt change fight it... because the light should have changed...

Good luck, hopefully you can't afford the insurance and it goes to someone a little more responsible to own a car such as a GTR.

his driving habits have nothing to do with how his friend drove, and his habits have nothing to do with me, you or anyone else in a skyline...

its not like he was street racing blowing through lights, unless of course he was lieing through his teeth...

i myself have been at a red light for over 10mins waiting before i drove through, of course there were no cameras, does that make me a retard... or would waiting longer make me one?

also chances are its not under his name for insurance... as i dont think people with an Learners permit can get insurance... they can still be listed as the primary operater...

You have a GTR with learners? That's like getting a Viper with... learners lol. Thank god I didn't have a car like this when I was learning to drive, I'd probably get mega tickets, burn through red lights of even get in a nasty accident. You should be ok.
