DOT headlights need help please ....

please help i live in manitoba and in need of help with my headlight anyone from manitoba can give me tips on what they had to do with thier headlights and tail as well . from what ive heard you have to change headlights and tails damn it why i like the OEM :? . any tips comments would be much appriciated especially from any manitobans with the R32's already safetied, also where is the best place to have it safetied tanks again ........

do a damn search this has been covered a million times

you can use accord headlights, or infinity j30 headlights, just make a bracket and your good to go...

there is the rockcrete headlights, do a search and you will find them

and if you had used the search fucntion, you would have found out that you do not need to replace the tail lights as they are equal to or greater than DOT tail lights... there was a private study done on JIS tail lights which prooved this

You sure are an Arrogant SOB. Not everyone knows how to use the forms and the search funtion on this form sucks as I have been searching for days with different combo's and still haven't found it either.

As a matter of fact : the question of head lights and such are so common, it should be a permanent post/thread listed on the form. And it should list exactly what is illeagal about them like is it the bulbs, reflectors the lack of french on them.

i just did a search and it took me all of 5 mins to find all the info i needed... ffs i even gave the info to find the lights that you can use, and you still cant find them...

maybe its not the search function that sucks?

so for your polite way of asking for help heres your answer... the OEM headlights are not illegal, they are just not approved for use in North america... and what makes them not approved is the beam cut off, it is reversed so it allows more light to shine into on coming traffic... since the headlights are not adjustable and there would be no way to determine if the lights had been adjusted, the powers at be did the only safe thing they could do, and disallow them...
