Fed up with cops that follow me

I don't know what they have, but they seem to enjoy to follow me home, its the 6th time they do this. Follow me to my driveway wait a few secounds then leave. I feel like they are trying to pin me for something. I should make a complaint to the local police station. Its like make a mistake so I can nail you for something type of deal. I should get of my car fast enough to ask whats the really the problem. I dont have a clean driving record, who really does, but my last ticket was in my legend last year for crossing a solid line by accident. I have all my points and the last time I was givin a ticket for speeding was 3 years ago. I should go to the local police station and file a complaint of harrasement.

If you drive normal around town you have nothing to worry about, I would get out of my car when you get home and wave them over and ask if they want to come in for coffee. At least you know if you need the police they're not far away
Every time I had the police randomly talk to me at gas stations etc they really like the car, so tell them all about it.
I had one RCMP officer talk to me for 30 minutes about my car then he told me all about his Subaru WRX I tried to convince him to bring it out to autox but he never showed.

Things are different over in that side of the country gtr-J. In BC we have a TON of RHD cars so cops are used to it. Not so much over there.

I've never had a problem with police in my skyline except for one incident but it wasn't a big deal really. What happened to me was I was stuck at a light pulling out of a mall parking lot with like 20 cars infront of me, and my rears were on a speed bump. It was snowing/icy out and when I tried to move my tires skipped a bit and went sideways (they were bald) and the cop behind me flashed me over to the side of a snowbank and wanted to write me up for wreckless driving.... I was pretty embarrassed, but I explained the car is rwd etc and my tires are bald. He took a look and told me to get new tires. End of story.

When they follow you home just drive around your block until they get bored or dizzy. Do this everytime. They will eventually get the idea and leave you alone. It's not illegal.

    OR

Before you get home pull over in a safe spot and if they pull over too. Get out and kindly ask the officer if there is a problem.

go slow enough so that they get close to you and slam your brakes, if they rear end you its their fault and im sure the higher ups of theirs wouldnt like the fact that they rear ended someone, just say you thought u were going to hit a cat. on the downside then your car has to get fixed after

thing is i tried to wave them down to ask, but they seem to run away. That i have to wait a few minutes before i get out..... (no turbo timer). Problem here is that the city of montreal hired a shitload of traffic cops, and they are all young and on a power trip....

i feel for you dude same here in manitoba all the younger cops have that same problem power trippin , everytime i get followed i always wave to them and if i get pulled over for no reason and get asked where im going i always say going to tim hortons for some donuts they usually leave me alone after that unless i really did break some violation or something , but if its like here in MB cops usually follow you around to check yuor liscense by plates and cops here type 5-10 words per minute in thier onboard computer thats why they take forever to see if youve been a good boy or a reapeted offender heheh but best of luck to you dont let them push you around ......

i actually have a clean driving record. not even a parking ticket. just fyi im 26 and have been driving for more than 8 years already. you can actually go to the local police station and file a complaint with their supervisor and anytime they pull up your record theres a note to stay away from you unless they have proof or suspect you of something wrong you've done. even then if they follow you and pretend you did something and you didnt really do anything. you can get them in very serious trouble. just get a badge number. im in ontario and ive never had any really bad experiences with cops. ive even chatted with a few of them. best one was this cop that had a mazdaspeed 6 and was really interested about jdm cars. he even left his partner in his car while we chatted for at least 30 mins. he left the parking lot drifting/fish tailing in the snow.

I'll prolly get harassed a bit when i go to the states this weekend in plattsburg. I want to clean out the engine with a nice long 2 1/2hr drive.
