    At the Dock.. no..

You have to take all you paperwork to a Autoplan Agent and get a Temp permit..

then Drive your car to a Inspection Facility. get it inspected..

then get another temp permit. drive it to teh Auto plan agent.

    They look at it..

then Pay you Dues to ICBC, wait while they dont know what they are doing..

then they will give you plates..

    THats what you do..

    PM me for more details..

Remember to emphasize the wait when you are at the autoplan place the second time while they look at it and get insurance on it. When I bought my car off ben, they took close to 3 hours to just accept the VIN and tried charging me some made-up fee which ben told me to refuse. thank again!

and technically the permit is only from inspection agency and back... if they want to be sticky. And you can only buy them a day at a time.. again depending if they going by the book...

I dont see why people try importing when they havent done their research...

pay some one a couple hundred bones or beer to guide you

If you live out of Province and have ID to Prove you from another Province.. ICBC will give you a Temp Permit for as long as you need..

my Buddy from Alberta does it all the time to get his cars back to Edmonton..

    gets a 3 day..
