Just wondering if a crack or rock chip can effect the process of registering and legalizing in bc? I think it classifies as a safety hazard does it not?

yup, in fact a cop can issue you a FIX-it ticket with chiped or cracked windsheild, and if you dont fxi-it right away you have to pay the ticket, to get the ticket withdrawn just show up to the cop shop and show them the fixed window...

but for isnpections ya its an autoi fail... if you have such an issue get the glass fixed before you go

is it a chip?? how big and where.... friend had one along the side...and he just put a decal over it skyline windshield on craigslist if you need one
