A&A and the crap they call Service

Well Honestly im pissed off with A&A..

I personaly havent delt with them however i have be invloved with 2 Clients that were using A&A plus my assitance..

Story 1.
Guy from Alberta, gets me to drop his documents off at A&A. THey do there thing, take there freakin time, promise us 3 days ends up being a week, then mail the Documnts back to my buddy in Alberta, i pick up the car. things should be all good.. NO wait.. A&A lost my Buddys Export Certificate, well they say they lost it.. what can they do for us.. Nothing.. sorry its lost cant help you guys.. ummm..

Ok moving on

Story 2.
Local guy knows nothing about importing at all.. drops his stuff off at A&A, again they promise 3 days takes over a week, storage fee's inncure.. anyways. goes to pick up his Completed Paperwork, they are in a envelope, with his name on it.. he doesnt know anything about the paperwork, bring it to me.. I look at it.. Umm.. Just a Form one and a B3.. all his other paperwork gone.... UMMMM.... Call A&A..
"Oh thats all you need to register a car here. ICBC will Take that.."

"Umm No"

"Sir, we do this all the time, we know what ICBC takes."

"Do you, I personally import around 4 cars a month, im down at ICBC every 2 weeks almost. I think i know what ICBC wants, and they want the original Documents"

"Sir Those are for Customs only, you no longer need them...."

At this point im glad these arent my cars, or my customers.. however Im still pissed.. because the first story is a buddy, and now his car is sitting at my house...

So result of this story..

A&A Suck..

and if anyone in BC knows of an ICBC place that will accpet copies of Export Certificates, instead of originals.. let me know..

Also they Charge way to much..

$25 for a Form 1.. Customs Gives those away..

Ya A&A sucks horribly.

Personally deal with Dave Bucholtz @ ABC Customs. He is AWESOME. Extremely professional, quick response, and only the best of the best service overall!

Anyway story...

Customers car back in May of 2008. We import the car with no problems what so ever. I forward all paperwork to A&A Customs, Stephanie to be exact (no longer with them).

Long story short:

Them: 5 days after I forwarded paperwork they contacted me saying they did not have Japanese De-Registration
Me: Not even 10 minutes later I forward the JDR to them for processing by both email and fax
Them (Stephanie): Hey Braden, got your JDR. Car will be cleared within 2 days.
Me: Thanks let me know asap!

3 days later:
Me: Hey Stephanie, is the SL500 cleared
Them(stephanie): I am currently on vacation from bla to bla. Please contact Lindsay.

2 days later after 12 calls, & 7 emails. I finally get an answer:
Me: Lindsay I need an update on this SL500, warf fee's are been charged and this is unacceptable
Lindsay: Hi braden, I do not have any information on this car or paperwork.
me: :shock: What! you cannot be serious? I forwarded everything to you like 10 days ago and again 5 days ago!
Lindsay: Odd, I will find out...

2 weeks later and a month after landing the car is cleared.



ANYWAY, im getting sick of typing. But you get the idea.

The end result... 1 month of warf fee's, Stephanie not showing up for work after her holidays or quitting? (was not told), and us filing a claim against A&A as we had no intention of paying fee's we were not the cause of!

A&A is a joke, never deal with them!

I dealt with A and A back with Susan was there and she was awesome...

But the last time i imported she no longer worked there, and i got stephanie, who was a little screwy, and ended up billing me for extra fees a month later, not even contacting me, they just showed up on the Visa(this of course after the total of the bill was paid a month previous). I called her and she was like no we are justified to add extra costs that occur after etc etc.

Since that time when susan left i have heard nothing but horror stories... Is susan working for someone else or just gone??

Ya I got the same thing done to me ... charged me extra storage fees because they didn't clear the damn car fast enough ..

When ever its there fault for not clearing quick enough. Do not pay, fight them to the grave and in the end you will win.

Yeah Susan Mcgrindle was the best of A&A.. Glad I no longer use them as they are expensive!
