How to put lien on a vehicle

I need information on how to put lien on a vehicle.

Basically, I am trying to sell my car to another person on a financing basis. I want to put a lien on my car just to be sure.

Does anyone know the procedure and the cost associated?

Any help will be really appreciated.

Honestly don't piss around with it. This is an easy way to get burnt.

Tell him to suck deep, go to a bank, and finance it himself. You're not a bank, let them handle it.

ya i wouldnt risk it at all...

think about it... guy pays for part of the car, crashes car, never pays again.... or guy rat bags car, something breaks and he wont pay any more cause the car is "broken"
