    Yet another headlight question.

Ok more like questions but I've spent like 2 hours reading this forum about headlights and I'm still a little iffy on what I need to do. I hate that we have to use Accords or something a long those lines. Maybe the pics I saw didn't do justice for the mod but it looks bad. Anyways I am coming to terms that Accord headlights will have to do. Rockcrete's headlights were pretty cool but having to find all the parts seems a little much and time consuming (to have him assemble it in his spare time)

So 94-97 ones will work from what I understand. I read the DIY looks pretty easy to install. Now here comes the questions.

The headlights I found on eBay all have the side marker on the headlight. Is that bolted on or do you have to cut it off with a dremel or something?

Is it possible to make the bracket sturdy enough not to move the headlights out of alignment?

    and finally,

Do you have to rewire anything for Accord headlights to work?

Thanks. (I also sent an email to the skyline shop to see if they could help me out.) - krarks

    Skyline shop.. LoL

    Anyways..

the Corner marker on the ebay ones, just un screws.. you will see what i mean when you get them..

The wires are pretty simple.. Positive to Positive.. Etc..

as for the mounting there are several different ways of doing it..

    thats up to you..

I dont keep them in very long so if they go out of alignment i dont care..

TSS is insanely over-priced from what I have ever asked them about.
    Sideways is the best ways.

You could always do the "installing audi projectors" yourself like I did? I made it very straight forward.

    search them

There is a company I talked to at SEMA that will build us lights 2 styles Standard and N1 Both DOT compliant just a bolt in. It will cost us but a masive group buy will take care of that. Ill pass the info on if someone wants to organize this. I simply dont have time. But the only way it would work is if the orders is are all pre paid. But they are willing to build them and have them certified. Its there buisness they know what they are doing.

the rockcrete headlights are what i have and getting all the stuff for them was a snap... i then sent him all the parts and he put it all together in his spare time and sent it back to me... he even offered to do all the work free of charge but i wouldnt have felt right about it...

it took me about 2-3 weeks to get all the stuff and then another 2weeks to get the assembled headlights back from him...

so about 5 weeks in total... and well worth it

the only parts i had to source which were a lil harder than going to the local lordco parts store was stock GTR headlight assemblies(my car had N1's) and the hella projectors... both the assemblies and the projectors were easy to get... i got a very nice set of assemblies from adam@feast auto, and the hellas i got from some online store who were easy to deal with and had already sent a number of the projectors to canada for the exact same reason i needed them...

so saying its too much hassle and too time consuming is unfounded especially since it was hassle free and i had no down time...
