Insurance Issues

The insurance company that I deal with refuse to allow me to get Fire, Theft, and vandalism on my GTR because they say it is considered irreplacable. I think this is bullsh!t. I can't even leave my car for 30 seconds before I start freaking out, thinking something terrible is happenning to my baby girl. Does anybody know of any company that will let me get fire, theft, and vandalism put onto my car?

Hey Gordoskin,

Talk to Lundgren & Young Insurance if you're in Edmonton or Calgary (note: I work for them, but I am not a broker). They have my car through Dominion of Canada... they were willing to do full Comprehensive and Collision insurance on mine, but I have heard they they aren't doing it for new policies any more. Aviva is also willing to do Comprehensive and Collision if you have an appraisal done, I believe.

We insure through about 13 different companies though, so you shouldn't have any problems....at least one of them should offer collision and comp.

Thanks alot for the info. I'm not looking for collision, just comprehensive, that should hopefully take away my paranoia a bit.
