    Exclamation Quebec to British Columbia

I'm moving from Quebec to British Columbia and wanted to know what exactly do I need to do to drive my R32 in BC. My R32 is legally registered in Quebec under my name and I have the registration with me. What exactly do I have to do to legally drive it in BC? Thanks in advance for you help!

Pass an inspection and get it registered in BC.

Be aware though that unlike here in Quebec, BC is pretty strict on things such as headlight DOT compliance, rear reflectors, third brake lights and day running lights.

Read the above. Also just to clarify it is an out of province inspection you need to pass and that can be done at man different shops, if you go to the western forum and post where you're moving and ask for a good shop in there someone will help you.

    hey bromeo "Trippy"

as im sure you're aware... quebec has banned RHD...

i would suggest since you alrdy have a registerred vehicle on QC.. why rob someone of the chance to own an RHD in quebec? you can take it out of the province but you'll never be able to bring it back in...

SO!... sell it in quebec... you`ll get a lot more money for it then if u were to sell it in BC... then go to BC and buy a new skyline... the BC prices for skylines are waaay cheaper then on QC.. think about for 2 seconds and you'll realise right from the start bc cars are more value for $ then QC because you end up paying more in QC initially for the car because someone along the line had to pay the shipping charges to bring the car across the country the first time!!

don't be stupid... unless you're SUPER attached to this particular car... sell this one in QC... and buy a wicked BC car.

If I was in his shoes, I would do the same thing as he is right now. I don't see the need to go through the hassle of a sale and then a purchase just to make like what, $1000? If that.

Keep in mind you'll have to factor in what it costs to go without the skyline for a while if he were to sell it, if it so happens to be his only car.

    lol

there is more hassle in getting it from QC to BC then the inspections, compared to selling and buying a new one...

also the 1000$ estimate you made is a lil low... he would prolly come out with 2-3k profit

When I first read the thread title I was stunned, thinking, "Sh*t! How did I not hear about BC following Quebec's lead to ban JDM cars!"

    Then I read your thread.

    *phew*

Good luck with your car, seems like all your questions have been answered already.
