via rail transport from bc to ont

the vehicle has cleared and is now awaiting transport in the yard.
there are typically 1-2 transport trains for via rail a week to toronto.
    my fees were $1100.00 for a 94 r33 4 door
the customs duty is going to be on $4711.20 so hst on that is $615.46
terra2 will confirm depart-arrival soon but with-in 2 weeks my car comes into concord and then flatbedded to here

NOTE: lowered cars will need front lip or front bumper skirt removed to not damage it
    fess vary based on weight/size/distance

I just feel a fully documented and current(2010) blog is needed and even my steal of a deal at $4800.00 skyline adds up after some tune up service $1350.00 , 90,000 yen for shipping from japan($1120.00) plus export fees appox $800.00, import $2000.00, and terra 2 imports $1000.00 service fee, $1100.00 rail shipping, $250.00 for appraisal, $800-1500 for rims/tires, cert/emissions $180, hst on car $615.46, hundered and something for registeration and plates it really addes up
and yes i will just give me a heads up

just got official word its on the rails so 3 days of processing after drop off 7-10 on the rails plus more processing on the other end then a flat bed from concord to my house a 1hr and 45min drive probably two days to deliver
i highly recommend to anyone with the time and insurance and is having it bc registered/safetied... drive back its 4200kms even at 10 full tanks of gas at 50-60 a pop an oil change when you get home one night in a hotel some road food and 2 days drive
maybe $1000.00 high end but one hell of a way to welcome home your beauty.
    verses
$1100.00- no control of timing days of minimal security and 13-17 days of waiting or more... im chewing my nails to bone worried about whos all looking through my car .... they leave cars unlocked in yards so there is no need to break the glass resulting in insurance claims
i wished my insurance could have worked something out. cuz paying more money for waiting longer in less secure areas just doesnt make sense
if it happened like that i would have been back from bc by now with my new car and driving my wife to the city next week instead of taking a cab to brampton from niagara region

They charged you 1.1k for sea rail?!

    A r32 gts-t was quoted at $650.

Did you get this quote yourself, or did terra?

most likely was including delivery on a flat bed... when i had mine shiped from edmonton to the kootenays it cost about 900... 650 for the rail from edmonton to vancouver and then 250 for the flatbed from vancouver to the koots
