I know this doesn't count but I'm 39 in Edmonton, lots of tickets, no accidents and I pay just over $900 a year. I think age and location play a huge role in insurance rates. It's my primary car. I also have my wife's car, house, etc with the same broker.

wow I only read half the replies in this thread but holly **** im glad I live in BC.

im turning 22 and I had one accident 3 years ago in my old old car, and I have 1 speeding ticket. Those are the only 2 things, I pay 186$ a month with collision + comp. Im the only owner/operator of the vehicle.

    ok 95 camry 4cy 5 speed
    1 mil
    no li
    clean record
out of niagara falls 318 a month
    with winter tires ( discount)
    driving 10 000 km a year.

my 240 is cheaper but they want to check it out. a full built rb20/multi/hydro/nocat/3" straight wont go well.
it counts where you live. i have looked into moving my address to Quebec for cheaper rates. there i would be $45 a month on my 240.

I wonder if I should go with just liability. It's been more than 4 years for me as a driver now and not a single accident (knock on wood). Although I worry about what would happen if I only had liability and something happened.
