    CobrAA's Eastern detailing pic

After going throught all Branden post in his thread, I thought I could start mine. I've got a couple of cars coming this summer and I look forward to do more than just one Skyline !

Instead of going around the car, my step-father put the recycling bin on the hood of the car and pull it on the opposite side!! Here's the damage.

    Product used:

PB SSR3 with yellow ccs pad
    PB SSR2 with orange pad.

I didn't want to do a better job because the rest of the car is rusted and might be going to scrap this summer. So, no point to do the whole car or do a perfect job on the hood.

    A red 1999 Civic:

    Wheels:
    Ultra-look degreaser
    Duragloss Metal polish
    PB Wheel sealant
    WG wheel foam applicator
    303 protector

Headlight: Did a 3 way polishing and top it with a coat of sealant to protect the plastic from turning yellow again.

    PB SSR3 with wool pad
    PB SSR2 with orange pad
    Meguiars PlastX with white pad
    Klasse Sealant

Polishing the glass to get a crystal clear clarity with a glass polishing:

I was in a hurry this day because I didi 2 cars in the same days and the owner wanted a 2 step polish, Didn't have really the times to takes tons of pictures but anyways you can imagine how swirly and scratchy a 1999 civic can be!:

    PB SSR2.5 with orange pad
    PB SSR2 with white pad
Klasse High Gloss sealant ( I wanted protection because he will top it with his new jar of WG Fuzion wax)

    After:

10 minutes after I was done, the rain started. This is why I don't have tons of after-pictures too.

    Saturday the 17th:

This Sentra SpecV was in great condition to start with. The clear was nice and reflective because the owner park the car inside his garage all year long.

    Product used:
Mix of dawn and car wash
    real sheepskin mitts
    Medium grade clay bar
    Engine decreaser
    Acid wheel cleaner
    Metal polish with steel wool
PB SSR2 with orange CCS pad
    Makita rotary
    DP Max Wax

I'm sure I'm missing some stuff lol!

Engine: There was Anti-rust on the towel and under the car, He told me he wanted to keep the protection there and it make sens!

Headlight: 1 compound + 2 step polishing and 1 coat of scellant to protect them from turning back yellow.

Exhaust: Boy, I took times on this pipe but I think the result show the work.

After wheel acid + degreaser +clay bar:

    After metal polish. Tadam!

    Wheel:

    Polishing wheel nuts:

    Polishing wheel:

    Clay bar:

What you see is paint chip !!

    Paint:

This was a pretty bad touch-up made by the previous owner. I had to use a compound to level the touch-up with the actual paint but not too much because I would have removed the whole touch up. You can barely see it now.

    After

    Some after-shot!!

    See ya next week lol!
