Yes they are grandfathered, but any law like that is always grandfathered.

I think the market boosted at the beginning of it, but I've still seen a large group of quality cars sell for the same prices as Ontario counterparts, sometimes even less. Very weird.

very true. right on franc. hows the police attention up there?

i don't think police target jdm cars more than others,
its still the same thing, big loud exhaust, tinted windows, bumpers falling off, dangerous driving ,etc..

in my case, i've driven right along cop cars without any problem,
when you drive normal, quietly and you car is in perfect order and clean, you don't atract unwanted attention

Well thats good to hear. Often times you have the obnoxious drivers of the world behind the wheel of a RHD and thats what gives the community a bad wrap. The only thing I really hope for is that Ontario doesnt do the same thing.
