In car video

Hey guys,


There was a thread on GTR UK with a lot of speculation about how much power my car put out (people didn't believe that it was putting out the 548rwhp I dynoed it to on a Dynojet @ 16psi).

At the suggestion of a member I tried to take a 30-130mph acceleration run and video it. Since my speedo is in km/h I figured around 50km/h to 210km/h. I know I made it to 200, maybe a bit past, but not sure if I hit 210 (you can be the judge). Also keep in mind I was holding my phone with my right hand while driving and shifting w/ my left (its new to me, since being in Canada and also hand is recovering from torn muscles so I can't shift really fast). Tonight was a very hot and humid/muggy night so it was taking away some performance.

Here is the video. It's in mp4 format so you'll need quicktime. I had to rename it to avi as my server wouldn't accept a mp4 file, rename it back. I've also made a WMV file

hey sushtsi what are you running again? (turbo wise?) why would be people be doubting... 500's is a reasonable range... its not something outrageous like claiming a 1000hp or antyhing?!?!? but anyways nice vid love looking at that rpm needle just fly up to the redline with such ease :P

Lol yeah, I've been meaning to take that off, I don't like the way it looks


The car has HKS Turbos, low mount, I thought they were bigger than 2540's, but the guys on GTR UK think they are 2540's for sure. They also figure that the car should only be putting out 440rwhp, so who knows :?:

? 2530's are rated for 320 each... thats 640 total... 2540's are bigger... flow more air... probably like 350 each... 700 total...

how is 550 "unbelievable"?!??! :roll: ... lol who cares about them... you know its fast and thats all that matters :P
