  • BC Meet

When i told my friend earlier this week that i was getting a r32, she said that whenever i get it, we have to take a trip Tofino. we chose that one horse town cause besides port hardy, that's the windiest road we have (and it's really scenic) So i'm inviting ALL BC skyline members to join me and my friends friends on their bikes.

also, since they have a kick ass beach there (the only one in BC where you can go surfing) we'll just party on the beach all night.

the only thing i ask is that if/when it happens, no one tries any Initial D crap and gets hurt. I don't wanna see anything like that M3 meet in california where 2 guys died.

i'll update this thread once we come up with specifics, so check back in a few months!

HEhe. I grew up in Ucluelet. I know that road with my eyes closed. Midnight runs to McDonalds in Port Alberni As long as it's around the June, summer time, I'm in. It'll be nice to get some surfing in to

hahahahahah i love Ucluelet. all it has is the boat docks and a Co-op

if you live IN vancouver (or even greater vancouver) it'll be ok to drive your skyline in the winter (if you want to put it through that)

i see 240's in the winter as much as i see them in summer here which is great, cause if i want to drive it then i still can. unlike in cowtown

240's are so common in edmonton i wish ppl would get over it and drive them year round.

I'd be up for meeting with you guys any time =)

I would recommend planning a meet in Van for mid June, that's when we (northwestnsisans.com) put on our annual BBQ which draws about 100 Nissans every year. When we've set a date for this years event I'll let you guys know so you can plan your meet for earlier that day then arrive at the same time or something.

We also have a big meet happening in March just south of the border in Washington. Last year we had about 200-250 cars at that event.. since the US guys don't have the luxury of importing 15+ year old cars it would be sweet to show up with a crew of 10-20 Canadian skylines.

We haven't decided for sure, we're looking into bigger/better locations then last year.

Count me in for any Nissan or Skyline meets in AB, BC or anywhere else that's not too far. I want to get as much road trip time as I can this summer.
