  • Canada Meet

I think once we are done our regional meets we all get together and meet in the middle - like Manitoba or Sas. for a big meet!

It may not be feasable but hey its worth a shot!

sounds like a good idea, but is there anything to really do in central canada?
i've never been but from what people have told me, it seems kinda boring there

There is nothing wrong with Regina (other than the roads will eat your suspension, and maybe your car) so lets not make any more fun of it. But yeah, some sort of meet next summer would be good. What could be is more of a tour, like meet in alberta and cross to ontario or something like that. It would be loads of fun.

I still think the most likely venue would be Toronto, just because of the amount of extra stuff you can do there and for all you japanese car fans I can probably take you to a million places for you to emply your wallets.

Are there any cheaper places to stay in TO? If we had enough people, we could probably get a nice group rate. It would be nice to see a whole lot of R32s parked side by side in a parking lot, for sure.

omg count me in, i've always wanted to go to Toronto.

When i went to Quebec City a few weeks ago, that was the funnest time of my life! too bad it's kinda far from TO.

man, that's gunna be quite the trip for us BC people

maybe next time you eastern-ers can come over to our side and we'll show you around.

I am thinking two separate (western and eastern) GTRC meets.

                T.O. and Van City.

Of course it will totally depend on how many actual owners we can get to them. If we can get 5-10 confirmed Skylines showing up I will fly out west to hang with you guys (and girl) It'll be fun, plus gives me an excuse to go nuts with the sushi, ramen and izakaiya restaurants in Van 8)

I like the direction this thread is heading. I was planning on not planning anything until much later but I guess everyone's getting antsy already from the weather

Should be a good turnout in T.O. I can arrange for a group rate at a nice hotel. I also can find something with ground level rooms reserved for us so we can sleep right outside of all the cars

I imagine a nice cruise through my favourite country roads would be in order, a BBQ, then back into the city for a invasion of one of the many asian malls in the north burbs and all of us going out for noodles, korean bbq etc. I can see all the people in their wrx, tegs and 350z's with their jaws dropping. I have been approached already by a few sponsors who'd like to supply giveaways as well as coverage by SCN and PAS mags.

Another thing we can arrange is a group dyno day at someplace like Japan Automotive or Absolute Motorsports and (big if) might persuade Tyndago to come up and tune some of the rides. I know I'd like that for my R.

Should be a good time for all. We can do much the same for the west coast but since I'm not native there we'll need someone to take the helm over there and run the show.

By that time hopefully Menace will have his GTR finally and we can all relax...
