AWD Tranny in GTS-T ?

i have been looking for a gts-t 5speed tranny... but couldnt find it but i found a gts-4 tranny ... my skyline is a Auto ... would it be possible to fit a gts-4 tranny in gts-t type m ? or should i just look for the gts-t tranny and drop the idea ?

would you not have to change the entire drive train out, not just the tranny if you wanted to use a gtr or gts-4??

mailed alot of ppl that export engines + trannys from JAP .. they all dont have it :S .. i dont know its just me or what ... looked around Ebay and only found 5speed for gts-4 .. any good links for stuff like that ? if so .. plz post..

I wonder if the R33 GTS25-t tranny would bolt up.. I'm sure that transmission would be better then the GTS-t... Maybe it will be easier to find aswell...

you could try google maybe, talk to an exporter or someone like that.

been googling but no luck ...
seen some ppl say that they did that but didnt say how ... or what is needed for it to be done

I've asked around the other skyline forums and came up with this..

-It should bolt up to the engine.. but you will have to enlarge the tranny tunnel a bit..
-Then theres the speedometer issue because of R32's being cable driven.. no one said what to do to fix that yet...
-you will have to make your own mounts for the transmission..

Overall I think it to be a bit to much of a hassle.. You decide 8)

If you'd like I could make an enquiry to my supplier in Hong Kong. They have a huge parts yard. I'm sure they could find one in short order. It won't be cheap shipping though.

gr.... i think i should wait for one of the gts-ts in canada to be totaled .... lol so i can buy the tranny or watch out for the tranny on ebay ... saw the gts-4 tranny there ... if i order it from jap .. the price of tranny might be great but the shipping will eat my wallet ... the other day i asked http://www.carmate.com/ for there veilside bumper + shipping ... the bumper cost AU $400 but the shipping to canada was AU $1100 and i aint payin 1600 for a bumper ... if we got the cars here .... now we should have ppl with parts ... in canada
