Man, by the sound of it, Ferrari will (again) be the team to beat:
..wow, 2 seconds is huge in racing. This is very sobering, especially for a Williams fan like me.
From testing it looks like BAR (maybe), Renault (favoured upset) and Williams are going to be very competitive. Ferrari is just up there enjoying the benchmark set 2 years ago.
I normally go every year to the MTL race with Nismo and 13th-A, but this year I'm taking a break. Should be a great season though. Cannot wait until March! I hope the Downunder gives us a thrilling race.

Barrichello crushes the Mugello track record
Two seconds a lap faster, with the new F2004
Rubens Barrichello had a memorable day at the Mugello circuit today, crushing the previous lap record.
For his last day at the Italian circuit, the Brazilian completed 74 laps (including 9 on the short version of the track), with an impressive fastest time of 1'18"704. The previous lap record was held by Michael Schumacher in 1'20"943 since June 2002.
The Scuderia's testing programme will resume tomorrow at the Fiorano circuit, this time with Michael Schumacher.

I used to do the pool every year on F1.com before they got bought out by the Ecclestone empire and went corporate. I never did win that free trip to Monaco...
