  • Fastest Easiest way to 400hp?

he guys i'm picking up an rb26dett tomorrow and i want it at 400hp before it goes into the car. the ecu already has the boost and speed limiters cut. just wondering if anyone has any good ideas for a quick cheap 400hp.
    turbos?
    boost controller?

    thank you

cheap... dangerous word. Why not drive a mustang or something that's cheap and easy to power up.

first.. no mustangs are gay and cheap doesn't always mean danger i can build a 700hp big block for like 5g

bhp i have the motor out right now and im rebuilding/tweeking and i'd like 400bhp before it goes back in.

Put on some bigger turbos. It's a crapshoot for stockers at that level.

downpipe, decat, cat back exhaust, intakes and boost controller (up to 1.0 bar for stocks), dump pipes, racing cam gears (advance timing), hard piping kit (intercooler), retune ecu (fuel/ air ratio). I would say that should be pretty close to 400hp. Woulnt know till you dyno it to find out though so dont hold my word for it just yet.

Well he is rebuilding the motor like he said, if he spends the big bucks for a good rebuild he should be fine.
