  • ATTESA-ETS Thoughts.

As we all know, the R33/34s have a more sensitive ATTESA system.
As far as I know, this is due to a faster processing computer (better sampling rate).

Which leads me to my questons...
Aside from the ATTESA computer, what other components vary from the R32-33-34? Also, if it is simply a computer difference, could one swap the computers and have better ATTESA-ETS? Or would some ECU tuning be required.

If there are other sensors, could one, in theory.. switch over the system from an R33/34 into a 32?

This is all just out of curiosity and I have no real intention of doing this.

    Thanks.

yes you can, a bloke ove here's done exactly that by swapping the R33 system into his R32. Poor man's V Spec II I guess.

Is it just the computer? I would assume there would be better sensors too.

I would assume that it was the sensors, the actuators/solenoids, and the ECU

I would say its just the computer. The G sensor and ABS sensors are similar.

Jeff at RB wants to put a Vspec rear diff in his R32. He has a complete R33 harness. We will see if we ever get to it.
