  • The hella almighty OT thread

Ive noticed alot of other threads.... (i.e hotwheels r32 thread) going offtopic alot lately so i figured hmmm there isnt actually a thread where literally nothing is offtopic. A thread for random thoughts or funny stuff u saw/ hear that doesnt quite cut it to be its own thread. Im fair sure get the gist by now.

so yes nothing can be off topic in the hella almighty OT thread. Sorta hoping the off topic urges people get will be kept to this thread... dont worry i get them to its ok. Lets hug it out!

Since im starting it i figured **** im actually gonna need a subject to kick it off. Was actually thinking hmmm summer is around the corner and i have plans for this and this and that. Whats everyones plans for summer? Anything u know u just gotta go see or sumwhere u wanna go etc.

    SPEAK NOW!!!

Ah, here it is. See, the premise started out very similar but ended up being all about airsoft. http://forums.gtrcanada.com/showthre...ghlight=airgun

FD round in Long Beach is insane, kills the Seattle one by a mile. All sorts of stuff there, I believe the Mazda Furai was there last year. The Seattle one is tame by comparison, but still has a decent course. Honestly though, if you're down deep in the states for FD, might as well go catch the real drift tourney, D1GP at Irwindale.

I think my cousin is driving in that D1. I'll have to check. I have a lot of family in socal. I plan to go there this summer. But I'd be driving my motorcycle1 and avoiding I5... Most boring drive ever. Coast highway FTW. I plan on working a lot this summer. Beyond that and the bike trip, I hope to take the SPD course or whatever it is at the Mission track. Also fiddle on my next car.

Has anyone ever had the desire to create an 'emergency MAP' for those who have ECU's that allow quick and easy MAP changes (PFC, AEM etc....providing you ride around with a notebook/laptop...lol) for Road Triping ?

For example: You are stuck out in bumF#ck Egypt.....and the only fuel available is dirty old 87 oct.

Something like 8 psi Boost (or less if possible), pulled timing......just anything to keep the car 'running and driving' while not cooking pistons ?

                        OR...

Just carry a few bottles of "Octane Boost" in the trunk and call it a day ?
