Let's see if anynoe has any input..
When i start the car, mostly from cold if I remember correctly, the oil pressure is low for the first few seconds. Rather than starting up and sitting at 1400 rpm like a normal cold start, it starts up hard, but then chugs for a little while @ 1000 rpm-ish (with no/low oil pressure) then makes its way up to 1400. Also, right after i start it and the pressure is low, I can hear the valvetrain making alot more noise than it usually does, and once it builds pressure the noise calms down. Why's this happening?
