  • Transmission stuck NISMO GPRO

Hey so I just pulled the engine and tranny out of my gtr and now I can't get the tranny off, it slid back about one inch and won't go any further even after two hours of jiggling pulling and swearing. Any ideas? I'm starting to suspect a seized on pilot bearing, but I really hope not

As well, I have a NISMO GPRO twin plate in there, does anyone know if I could unbolt the clutch and pull the whole thing off? Assuming a seized on pilot bearing.

Remove the clutch through the starter hole while turning the crank for individual access to each bolt.
    Double track drift, yo.

Do you have a Push or pull clutch. I'm pretty sure that on the pull type clutches you need to remove the bearing first. Check this site it has a video. http://sites.google.com/site/tyndago/rb26engineremoval
Dang! You got shocks, pegs... Lucky! You ever take it off any sweet jumps?

its a pull type, i found out after unbolting the whole clutch that i could have just removed the pin for the shift fork and it would have been all good haha
