Hey guys, im hoping someone can give me a hand with this. There are many similar topics on here and on the net but i cant seem to find one answering my question about setting my FPR below. I've got an rb20det powered skyline with an rb25 turbo on it, running about 15psi of boost, car has been fine for years like this. However it has always gotten horrendous gas mileage and occasionally will puff out alot of black or white smoke when under 12+psi.
So i've got this adjustable FPR, its currently set to about 40psi at idle and when throttling it, it hits about 60-65psi, as i understand i should still be running close to stock psi which is around 44. Now i guess my question is, am i supposed to set it at 44ish under idle or under throttle? Also i realize setting this properly most likely will not fix my above stated issues, i just wanted to eliminate this as a potential problem.
