I had a lumpy sort rough idle, I replaced the CAS and the lumpy idle went away!!! Anyway I've always had the idle issue and thought it may be related to the lumpy idle but I guess not.
When I start the car(cold) it runs rough and idle its around 1200rpm, sit for a minute and start driving, get to my coffee spot, leave the car running(temp gauge still not up) and now it's idling at 950rpm and really rough, once the temp guage starts to move the idle will come up to around 1200rpm and it runs alot smoother. So my google search came up with a IACV problem. My idle should be high when cold and go down when temps are up. My car runs lower rpm when cold and higher when warm. I have played around with the AAC and adjusted the screw all the way in but idle will only get as low as 1000rpm, and if I leave it there it runs pretty rough and in the morning the cold idle is around 700rpm and does not sound good at all.
Any input on cleaning testing the IACV would be great.
