From what my broker told me, There is 7 or 10 days of free storage at customs. After that it I beleive $15.00 a day. Apparently they will never work on your case and let you clear the car during the free storage period. It's all about making money!

There's 5 days free storage at Fraser Wharves. They try to clear out the cars as fast as possible... there's just a lot of cars to process right now... I have 7 alone to clear.

Customs has refused entry for three cars that I know of, all because they are modified, Customs is saying that they should have production dates based on when the modifications took place, not when the car was initially assembled. Two of the cars have full roll cages, basically a customs agent went down in person to see the cars and then decided to look into it further and now we have a huge waste of time.Christian ofComment
