    1st 2008 track outing

Well yesterday was a very wet and cold day.

but I still went to the Sanair tri-oval road course and I had ALOT of fun.

I must say that I'm now quite satisfied of the balance of my car. it was my very 1st time on a track with wet surface with the GTS-T(I tracked my stock subaru brighton last year).

running with 1bar boost(around 310hp)my rear BF goodrich KDW2 255 were pretty predictable and went I did loose the rear end, everything was under control

but nothing compared to my new front wheel/tires. I bought NIsmo LMGT4's last year and I wasn't sure they would fit. being 9.5 wide and with a + 38 offset I wasn't sure it would fit.

Also I decided to go with BFgoodrich KDW2 255 wide tires. which was maybe a mistakes because without a 5mm spacer the tires rubs slightly on the suspension arm.

so in other words: 255/40/17 tires, 9.5J +38 offset -5mm spacers(~33mm offset) fit the GTS-T. Also I must mention that I have adjustable upper camber arms and it's set to negative 1 degree maybe. so it might be

    now with the good stuff:

Braking: was trully amazing even in the wet. I'd say it was probably as good as it was before on the dry with my 215's.

    pics are coming soon!

So I had a bit of time and decided to compare both cars via DataLog!

Here's a snapshot of the excel sheet
and the excel sheet :P with raw data of the silver one.

I'll try to draw the actual course to give an idea of the different data points

Well done Klys. Your one of the few which actually hit track days up on this board.

What rotors and pad are you using now?

I'm using Hawk HP + in the front with brembo plains
and Hawk HPS in the rear also with brembo plains.

    with Motul RBF600 oil

I'm installing 2004 WRX sti brembo rear dual pot calipers tomorow to see if it improve stopping power...(I got them cheap and rebuilt them).
