Mark Jacobson just threw down a 7.96 @ 176.6 MPH.
Third fastest GTR in the world right now, number one fastest 2.6L gtr.


Time was just backed up early this morning with a 7.97 @ 163mph. obviously there is much room for improvement still. They were looking for a 7.8@180 today but the cas had enough and shut it down at the end of the track.

how could it have enough?


too much heat? or too many RPMs?? hehe

Can't say for sure, the shafts can snap and wheels can crack if they vibrate enough at high rpm.

The fix probably would be to run the signal off the crank pulley, like they do with racecars.

Would be interesting to see if Heat Treatments 7.57 sec R32 GTR (world record breaking 4wd R32 GTR) lines up against the Godzilla Motorsports R32 GTR when Heat Treatments team visits Australia. The HT R32 GTR dragcar can run a 7.59 sec 1/4 on I think is the same drag strip. So the Godzilla Motorsports R32 GTR chassis should be capable of running a similar 1/4 mile time -

They are building 2 x 6 sec capable dragcars with help from Jerry Bickel (chassis) in the US and some place in New York for motor (I think it's a 350Z) -

There's always competition between NZ, Australia. It doesn't matter what sport i.e Netball, Rugby, Dragracing, etc.

There used to be Mario with his R33 GTR dragcar who used to beat Heat Treatments R32 GTR dragcars 1/4 times in the 8 sec bracket. But I think he sold his R33 GTR dragcar to the business that built it.
