    Mosport Lap times?

Hey, I'm wondering if anyone in the GTA/Ontario area has ever taken their GTR to the big track at Mosport and run their car hard? I'm curious what kind of lap times anyone has turned out. Not the Driver Development Track, but the big main track.

All depends on the level that the car is prepared to.

Canadian Touring Car Championship cars are running low 1:30s there.
I've seen GT cars (back when there WAS "GT") running high 1:20s.

I'd imagine one could achieve mid 1:30s with a GTR without going too deep into the pockets - turbos, management, suspension, brakes, tires, cooling, diet.
It gets expensive after that with a heavy car, just talk to the Krikorians and their uber-beast WRXs.

I know what the CCTCC cars run, I built an engine for one.

Just curious what a mildly modified GTR would run compared to them.

    Anyone have some actual times?

#23 FC RX-7 Eric Nummelin. We did a half bridge port 13B.

Starting next year his car wont be legal to run in the CCTCC...
