Call To Arms - TRACK DAY THIS SUNDAY!!!!!

The Ontario Z-Car Club has Dunnville Aerodrome booked for all day this Sunday. This is a great little "flat" track to use to develop your driving skills as there are no guard rails or concrete walls to hit. Everyone is invited to come as they have opened it up to not only just Nissan/Datsuns but all makes. $165 for the whole day and the weather is going to be beautiful. Come see some of the best restored and racing Z-cars in the area and bring your own ride to show these guys the REAL fast line around a grip track. I'd love to see a couple of Skylines come out. If you do come, drop by and say hi, I'll be bringing my green 510 Targa Rally car for some sorting (the one in my Avatar only it is bright green now - need to get some new pics).

For more info, here's the particulars.

Hmmmmm, too bad my tires and the lack of a battery tie down prevent me from passing the tech-in.

Plus I need new Tie-Rod ends before I start playing on a track.

I'll see if I can rig something up to facilitate the monstrous battery (in comparison to the Japanese one).

Any rules governing how the battery terminals are attached? Mine are kinda... streched over the posts on the battery as i haven't had the time to replace them. They are on TIGHT as hell... but I dont know if they need to actually be screwed down or not.

Doesn't matter about the battery cables, as long as they won't fall off. Make sure the battery is secure though. Hope to see you out there Justin. I'd love the chance to chase you around the track!! I wouldn't be too concerned about the tie rod ends. If you are driving it on the road now, I don't think you will have any problems since this track is quite smooth and the pavement is in good shape (new last year).

I'll see if I can get some tires, or you wont find it too difficult to "chase" me around the track  .
