    1st Track Experience

Well, Last Monday I went to the Autodrome St-Eustache and did a couple of laps!!

Woohoo was it ever Fun, I'm now Addicted!!

The car went very well, and show all it's potential!

I haven't attained the limit of the car, but my limit!

it's actually harder than I would have tought but with the help of the instructor, some difficulities were overcome.

All in all, very satisfied and would recommend and skyline owner to try a track event when he/she has the chance!

oh and is it normal that my oil is now under the min line?, it was at the max before the runs.

I refilled her up, but it kinda worries me a bit.

I went to experience a track day thingy and it was Awesome.
Being able to open up the taps legally, safely and having fun

Klys, do you have a catch tank? if you do the oil might have ended up there. Have a check and be sure to empty it.
I read instruction manuals in my free time

    2nd track experience...

    Well yesterday I went
    it was fun ...
    yeah
    Until I spun out :|

damage is minimal but still it suxor hehe.

just a really small dent on rear fender and a little crack on bumper

    :|

What happened BTW I had an instructor in the car with me and wasn't a hot head(at least I don't think I was being one)

I was told to stay in 3rd cause most cars don't top it... however

the skyline did... and while exiting a fast corner, either I had too much torque at 6500 and accelerated for a bit of oversteer... and hit a patch grass and spun out

Or I hit the engine cut off which debalanced the car while being at the most critical part of the turn...

    anyways
I was very lucky. I did a 270 and landed straigth (with My rear) in the tire wall. If I had hit on the side ... well my whole side would have been scrapped.

So NEXT time .. NO staying in third... Or I'll go about somewhat more slowly :|

    we'll see next monday
    I'll post pics tonight

OH and I should have put that god damn Wing I would have had more downforce hehe

ah man forget it, if you would of had the wing on it would of been one of the first thing to hit the wall and it would of ripped apart your trunk !

It was a fairly impressive crash to say the least, Too bad I couldn't film it... so ... gonna put up the picture I took of you in the wall? :P

    yeah
    And really
    not that much damage
    I'll post tomorow
    I'm spent

Ah and I learned that since my Injectors (440s) are running ŕ 80-85% duty cycle I should be pushing around 360HP at the crank

and my redline is 8200 sweeto

and my Idle is nicer now
