Wanna race?Oct 30th Vancouver Drifters invites skylines only

We have a drift event on the 30th and if you drive a skyline I'll let you light it up, maybe even some side by side.

This is open to skylines only. You must pass tech. No **** cars. I can't promise how many runs you will get. You must have a helmet. DO NOT JUST SHOW UP!!! RSVP james@vancouverdrifters dot org . Let me say that again, do not just show up and expect to run because so and so's friend said it was ok. This is my show and if you want to play in it you have to email me first. Not trying to be a **** but Discovery Channel will be taping the drifting and I have my hands full with the day and can't afford the time to give 1000 drivers meetings.

On a happy note you will see just how fast your car is in a safe enviroment. In closing, don't thank me, thank your friendly neighbourhood Autoshop Cannonball.

I hate this. Id be all over this if i didnt live 12 hours away......next summer i shall come out there and me and frenchie will put on a skyline drift clinic

Make the drive. I just drove a Toyota Dyna firetruck to Calgary yesterday. Takes no time at all. Sleep at one of the skyline guys places up here.

On a side note, how do you like that turbo on your rb25 swap? When's it got full boost by.

Well, considering my main focus is drifting lately, the turbo is a little bit laggy, but with tuning i should be able to get the spool down a little bit. Right now im not running with the boost controller turned on either, so the wastegate does bleed a little bit off earlier than it should. Those things considered, it spools right around 4 grand, if i can get it down to 3500 (which i think i can) i think it will be perfect. If not, maybe its time for some cams. The one thing i do love about it though, is the amount of power once the boost hits, more than enough for drifting.

And btw, i dont think its a good idea for me to come out there anyway, ive got some exams coming up and im subjecting myself to a pretty brutal course load this semester, hope the event goes good though

i cant ive got work and my car goes away for storage/modifying. if u hold something like this next year more towards not being close to winter.. im in for sure, ill beat on my car like no other hahah. GOD i hope FALKEN tyres or something else holds another drifting event like they did... so pissed off at my self for not entering.
