BC Driving Center

Hey guys... does anyone have information about the BC Driving Center?
I heard about it recently, but I can't find any information about it on the web.
From what I heard it is a new track near Vancouver, so I figured some of you west coast guys might have heard something about it.
I am in Vancouver for a couple of weeks, and was hoping to check it out.

It could be the one that takes place at Mission raceway.

No, it isn't Mission. It is supposed to be an all-new track, maybe not even complete yet.

There was an article in the National Post last year about this time (April 2005) about a new track being built in BC at a place called "Active Mountain Resort" near Merritt. Here is what I heard at that time.

Apparently it is supposed to be completed in 2006. It is 50% owned by Keith Smout (President of the racing facility) who is also the sponsor manager for the new Midland F1 Racing team that just bought Team Jordan in January. This new team is owned by Alex Shnaider, a Toronto based billionaire and owner of the Midland Group.

Yeah, that track has been under development forever. There is no way it will be completed this year, and frankly I'd be surprised if it will be completed in 2007. It's too bad too, because it looks like it will be an awesome track once completed, and within 45 minutes of where I live
