That's a really good deal! I hope I am in Van.....
In the end the gov't will do as they please and if they do kill the 15 yr rule life will go on, and we will find other cars readily available to pour our hearts and wallets into. The Skyline is a great car, but its not the only one. It might be a case of easy come easy go.------------- JZ

i could make a trip out to van city of this, my car needs painting asap. kit is fit and preped for paint, just minor body work needed.

i might be intrested. Could they do Candy apple red for a decent price?

i would do base coat, clear coat so if you could get a pricing and pictures i might be intrested.

this is actual work from the shop.

and this price was only 750 for base/clear because it is a smaller car.

im intrested, is this an on going deal? and will it cut down on price if the car is already preped for paint and kit just needs really minor fitting?

would it cost extra to have a Candy paint job?

Candy apple i will ask tomorrow about.

Regarding pre prepped jobs.. if you want a minor discount he will not be responsible for visible scratches from your own doing.
I personally would rather pay the full price have him 100% responsible for any imperfections. cause if you sand it cheaply.. it will flake 6-9 months down the road. if you scratch too deep.. it will show.

If you bring it in, and the sanding is already done... he might appreciate the start but he will still go over the car to his level of approval.

He doesnt splash cars, its his business and reputation on the line. Every car reflects his personal best. If you do decide to bring your car in.. you will see the work and effort he does for the cars waiting to get painted.

please pm me if genuinely interesting in getting work done.

    I can disclose info then.

Owner of the shop would rather not me post it in forums because of the high volume of phone calls and phone quotes... If your local, or will be local, i can give the info to you, he really needs to see the car for a proper quote if you need anything more then basic door dings or small scuffs, over the phone doesnt help anyone realistically.

but dont worry everyone... lol this isnt Maaco! Its a hard working shop with less overhead so the savings gets passed onto the customer.
