No manual Transmission!?!?! Are you kidding me? That sucks. IMO, theres no better way to feel the power of a car then through a manual transmission. But that is just me. Arg. I will custom fabricate one......No......I won't. I don't have the patience for it. ARG! I guess I will just buy an automatic.

i saw the new coupe today, it was hidden in the garage at Nissan since it's apparently not supposed to be released yet. loks pretty good, but I'll be first in line to see the GTR when it gets to the dealer. they've promised me a test drive, but i'm sure it's jsut talk lol.

no manual is kinda disappointing, but i guess most cars are going the way of the paddle type.

I am debating between picking up one of the new GTR or going with the EvoX. My criteria is that this will need to replace my daily driver, and frankly I am not keen on driving the GTR in Ottawa's winters (evo is fine ). The price is much more reasonable compared to what the dealership has been telling me ($110K CAD). I'm hoping the good cdn dollar will keep the price close to the USD prices quoted. If so, I might actually take one as a year round car (fingers crossed).

Having driven Ferrari's F1 system, BMW's SMG and the new VW DSG, I don't mind the paddles at all! These things rock, and on the track its a real advantage (plus I can have my morning coffee while driving too).

Where does the 500 hp Evo spec GTR fit in pricewise?

    $60 - $70 k is still a fair bit of coin, but a far cry from $110!!!

From what i understand the 6spd manual will be set back on its release date because of emissions problems.

And the paddle shift will be a Dual clutch system that is supposed to be better than VW's(which is known as one of the best on the market)
The new EVOX will also come with a DSG transmission

    Great specs JZ
i assume these are for US release?

Dont be surprised if we don't see the EVO spec.
Remember we are in North America, The japs always screw us on cars (hehe)
