Yes, they call it the G37 for the 2008 model.

Looks like Nissan has designed and prefer it to go with the high end direction.
In the end the gov't will do as they please and if they do kill the 15 yr rule life will go on, and we will find other cars readily available to pour our hearts and wallets into. The Skyline is a great car, but its not the only one. It might be a case of easy come easy go.------------- JZ

i sat in this car yesterday, it's pretty sweet. it has the paddle shifters as well. I've never used them while driving a car before, but it seems pretty cool. personally, it's ont for me, as I don't like to drive with my hands in that position, but then again if I'm being lazy i'll probably just have it in the auto mode anyway.

Nice car, but I can see the Nissan designers are getting lazy!
This new Skyline coupe. new GT-R, Fuga, Fairlady Z all have similar looks, chassis and V6 engines! There is nothing cool and outrageous in the Nissan lineup anymore!

    My cars:
    1996 BCNR33 GT-R
    1992 FD3S RX-7 Type-S

R32, 300ZX, Cefiro, Laurel, Cedric, Gloria all shared a lot of parts/engines etc.

R33, Stagea, Laurel, Cedric, Gloria, Cima all shared a lot of parts/engines etc.

see a pattern? Nissan's king of parts recycling... they always have been.

Ok well they gave it HICAS, 306hp, outta a NA motor + it looks better and .2l of more displacement, maybe not everyones cup of tea but for the CDM and USDM markets this car really is a very very great car. At least Nissan is moving forward in their thinking sharing platforms might be a cue they are taking from the North American companies as Chrysler and Ford use pretty much the same 2 Chassis for not 2-3 or 3 cars but their whole line up from Cars to trucks to SUV's hahahaa sooo CUDOS to you Nissan, and you still are #1 in my books!!!

    Cheers~Dave just my 2 cents:!: :!: 8-) 8-) :-D
