Got some track time in an R35!!!

I spent some time with my baby here thanks to Nissan USA. I was burning it around the dangerous mountain twisties of Lake Tahoe and at the Reno Fenway Racetrack for around 30 laps. There were 6 GT-Rs there but I really had a soft spot for this one in KH2 Gunmetal. I swear she responded better to my commands with more torque and sharper steering that the others.

That is the colour I am thinking of ordering.
Was it one of the best, in your opinion, for that car? Does it reveal the features/curves well? What was your second choice of the colors available in that group?

The car was amazing in every aspect. To many pros to even list. The cons list is short and the V-Spec will probably make them all a distant memory.

- Car is too quiet, I'd like to see an EVC in there to open it up occasionally.
- Car is too heavy, at 3800+ pounds the performance is still amazing but at the cost of tires, brakes and bushings I'm sure.
- Bose system was weak. I've heard much better OEM. Plus it was unattactive with BOSE badges everywhere. No MP3 jack, no USB, no multi-disc changer, no harddrive, no DVD I can't recall even if it has blue tooth or satellite. 1990s system in the worlds most advanced sports car was a joke.
- some interior treatment looked cheap give me carbon fiber or aluminum!
- Car understeered a bit but then again I wasn't super familiar with how to set up the R-controls and really drive it. Steve Millen whipped the tail out np.

The rest of the car is flawless.

I'm looking forward to your writeup Dave! Everything I've read makes me want to rationalize spending waaaayyyy too much on another car....

Current issue of EVO put the R35 up against a Corvette Z06 on the drag strip, an Audi R8 on the road, and a Porsche GT3 on the track.

The Vette got to 100 mph slightly quicker, but the GTR out braked it for a win on the 0-100-0 contest.
It ate the Audi for lunch.
It beat the GT3 around the track by about a second on a 1:22 lap.

Wow. <=understatement of the day.
