I've been calling all Nissan dealers lately, none seems able to give me something solid.
Don't want to wait, can I buy one from US and legally import it into Canada?

I don't see why now....but with the warranty being as RETARDED as it already is (Track Day 'resets' ?...WTF ?), I can't imagine a Country Transfer being an option.

Check riv.ca. If it's admissible, you can import it. The bigger challenge will be getting a local dealer to service it. You will need to verify with Nissan Canada that the dealer would be obligated to do so. Then you'll need to deal with the dealer being pissed that you imported a U.S. car into their territory (...oh that part, it's out of stock... for you!) etc.
The good thing is that riv just relaxed their restrictions on importing late model cars from the U.S., so there's a good chance it's admissible. But I haven't checked the list recently.

i dont really see the big hype , just wait and get oen from here . or be even smarter . wait a bit longer and save up for the spec V the proper R35 ( IMO)
RB20DET[FTMFW]FOOLS//.
Yeah, wait for Spec-V/V-Spec would be the wise decision.. as long as it doesn't come out with the $130,000 MSRP like some articles estimated.
The Spec-V should be awesome for sure. However, I would expect this car to lose much of its "everyday Supercar" appeal. I'm anxious to see which amenities are sacrificed for the extra performance. i.e. will they toss the 2 back seats? Radio? etc.
Also, how many will Canada get?
i can get them from JAPAN for about the same price .. RHD....... and its 100% legal
