    Not really.

The R35 GT-R was initially sold CHEAP to help get the numbers up and generate hype.

This car seems more realisticly priced for the technology.

true.... but in relation to the standard gtr, id rather buy a standard gtr and get a tuning company to work their magic then pay for that.

Exactly.....nothing wrong with taking advantage of Nissan's Introductory Year 'giving mood'..

The 'off the lot' R35 sticker price should increase in price each year now and will be justified by limited availability each calendar year in terms of models ready for sale (or so the shortage they will create).....

First of all, is this for real or is that another one of those auto blogs that are cropping up these days with fabricated stories to get hits.

Second of all, $53K US more than ZR-1 MSRP?? :hit newb: I sure hope it's a lot faster.

I'll believe it when it actually comes out. The spy pics from Japan are a bit different than that, so I would take it with a grain of salt.
And what happened to the rear wing?!

Watch teh Discovery Channel 'GTR Show' that introduces the car during it's debut.

Nissan themselves claim to have initially released the car CHEAP and in LIMITED NUMBERS to keep up the hype. I can only assume then, the later models will be priced as to what they are actually worth.

The current R35 GTR is underpriced by about $20k USD in the current market to help revive the GTR Legendary name in the marketplace.......quite easy to see when compared to the competition.

So right now everyone who is getting them is getting a smokin deal...

hopefully by the time they are being sold at what they are worth, used ones come on the market, or i can afford to pick one up from the states...
